Our founder, Shigeo Ueda, has over 20 years of experience in the medical field and currently serves as the Director of the Shinaikai Spine and Spinal Cord Center in Osaka, managing over 1,000 surgeries annually. Leveraging his extensive experience in healthcare management and surgical operations, he offers effective solutions tailored to the unique challenges of the healthcare industry.

With over 20 years of experience in the medical field, Dr. Shigeo Ueda is a distinguished neurosurgeon specializing in spine and spinal cord surgery. He currently leads the Shinaikai Spine and Spinal Cord Center in Osaka, managing over 1,000 surgeries annually. Dr. Ueda’s extensive background includes positions at Saga University, Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children, and Otsu Municipal Hospital. He is also a part-time lecturer at Kyoto University’s Department of Neurosurgery, contributing to both clinical practice and academic teaching.

Dr. Ueda is a certified specialist with the Japan Neurosurgical Society and the Japan Spine and Spinal Cord Society, holding advanced qualifications such as a Technical Instructor in Spinal Surgery. His commitment to the field is further evidenced by his active roles in several professional societies, including board positions with the Japan Congress of Neurological Surgeons and the Japan Spinal Surgery Society.

Throughout his career, Dr. Ueda has received numerous awards, including the Young Investigators Award at the Brain Research Interactive Symposium, and recognition for best presentations at international and national conferences.
